Sister Stone offers her sensual and soulful '90s vibe R&B and hip-hop music to spread messages of reverence and praise for our Earth and honor our individual and collective healing, as a way to reconnect with ourselves as Nature.
Her lyrics and her fierce but gentle energy invite us to cultivate our personal strength, self-love, and reconnect us with our prayers for all our relationships and dedication to caring for our Mother Earth.
Born and raised in Metro-Detroit, Michigan, she was heavily influenced by hip-hop culture while having a deep and spiritual relationship with the Earth. She spent her child-hood and young adult years as an environmental activist and underwent 8+ years of vocal training, spent 6 years in show and gospel choirs, and received her BA in Arts, Entertainment & Media Management from Columbia College Chicago.
Throughout her 20s, she CoFounded several companies such as NuMundo, crowdfunded over $250K and consulted on numerous organizations and projects supporting ecological initiatives and Indigenous Communities. Her time spent working along side with Indigenous elders in ceremonies, working with sacred plant medicines and training as an eco-psychologist over the past 10 years, has brought her great wisdom that she shares through her Art, Retreats & Workshops.
As an internationally renowned artist, ceremonialist, organizer, and activist and Walker of the Red Road, Sister Stone is building bridges of healing across the globe on behalf of our future generations.
